BME Poster Printing Submission System

Poster printing will be closed for the Holiday and will resume Jan 5, 2026.

GENERAL INFO

Content must be related to class or research projects done in collaboration with the Wallace H. Coulter Dept. of Biomedical Engineering.
PDF is the preferred file format (otherwise PPT, PPTX, or EPS).
Please only use MS Office fonts, or embed your fonts. Font substitutions WILL cause formatting errors.
Mac users: please note in the comments that the file was created on a Mac.
Paper roll is 36 or 42 inches wide.
PowerPoint is limited to 56 inches. For larger sizes, scale in half.
Example: For an 8-foot poster, set PowerPoint to 48 ×21 inches.
Margins: everything is auto-fitted within the printable area (up to 3mm from edge).

Please use unique filenames. Re-submitting the same filename will overwrite the previous submission.
We are NOT able to cut or trim posters.

PICKUP POLICY

All printed posters must be proofed for errors at pickup time.
Any print issues must be resolved during normal working hours.
Contact us at support@bme.gatech.edu if a print issue is detected.
Posters submitted after 2pm may be printed the next business day.
You will be notified via e-mail when your poster is ready.
Pickup location: Orange bins on the first floor next to student mailboxes near room 1234, UA Whitaker Building.

WHITAKER BUILDING POSTING GUIDELINES

Posters may be displayed in the lobby for a maximum of 10 days.
Maximum size for display is 42 inches on the longest side.
Retrieve posters after the event or after 10 display days and return easel(s) to Whitaker 2127.

RULES FOR CLASS POSTER PROJECTS

All class poster projects must be coordinated with us 23 weeks in ADVANCE!
A submission deadline date/time must be agreed upon in advance.
At minimum, all posters must be submitted by 9am the business day before the presentation.
Only one copy will be printed. Reprints for mistakes or updated data will not be permitted.
Class posters will always be printed at smallest scaling (42" x 31.5") on Bond paper.
No cutting or resizing for non-standard paper widths.

POSTER PRINTING SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA)

This BME Poster Printing Service is a "Best Effort" service. We make every effort to provide quality prints in a timely manner. Occasional issues may result in images not being properly rendered. We require the customer to proof all work at pickup and allow sufficient time before project deadlines for corrections. The customer must notify us of any problem, and we will make every reasonable effort during normal working hours to reprint posters and correct printing issues.
